Terms

Terms of use for this website

These terms cover the website you are reading. They are not the terms of sale — an order is governed by the quote we send you and the purchase order you place.

Read the second section if you read nothing else: the numbers on these pages describe what we normally build, not what we have promised you.

What these terms cover

This page sets the rules for using this website. It is written by Hongrong (Shenzhen) Electronics Co., Ltd., 6/F, Bldg C, Qianwan Key & Core Tech Park, Xixiang St., Bao’an, Shenzhen, Guangdong, P.R.C. “We” and “us” mean that company; “you” means whoever is reading or using the site.

By reading or using the site you accept these terms; if you do not, the fix is to stop reading it.

These terms do not govern a purchase. A purchase is governed by the quote we send you and the order you place, and if anything on this website contradicts those, the quote and the order win.

The content here is indicative, not an offer

Layer counts, line widths, tolerances, board sizes, materials, finishes, lead times and photographs on this site describe what we normally do. They are accurate as far as we know, but they are not a specification you can hold us to, and nothing on this site is a binding offer, a warranty or a promise of delivery.

  • The binding numbers are the ones printed on your quote and the ones on the drawing you approve.
  • A capability listed here may depend on your design — 0.05 mm lines on a large panel are a different question from 0.05 mm lines on a small one.
  • Photographs are of real boards and real machines, but not necessarily of yours.

If a number matters to your design, ask us to confirm it in writing before you rely on it. We would rather answer that question than argue about it later.

Using this site

You are welcome to read these pages, print them, save a copy for your own use, link to any page, and quote short passages with a credit and a link back. Search engines and AI assistants are welcome to read and index the site — we would rather be quoted than ignored.

What we ask you not to do:

  • Copy pages wholesale and republish them as your own, or as someone else’s.
  • Load the server down with bulk automated requests. An ordinary crawler is fine; a hammer is not.
  • Probe, scan or attempt to break into the site or anything behind it.
  • Suggest that we work with you, endorse you or have certified you, when we have not.

Our text, photographs and marks

The words, photographs, drawings and layout on this site are ours, or used with the permission of whoever made them. The photographs are of our own boards and our own machines.

Our company name and logo may not be used in a way that implies endorsement, partnership or certification. Quoting a passage with a link back is not that; putting our logo on your brochure is.

Drawings and Gerbers that you send us stay yours — that is the next section but one, and it is not affected by anything here.

Quotes

A quote is valid for the period stated on it, counted from the day we send it. It is based on the data you gave us — Gerbers, BOM, quantities, delivery date. Change the data and the quote changes.

Asking for a quote costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Sending us drawings does not place an order.

If the quote does not state a validity period, ask us to confirm one in writing before you rely on the prices. We deliberately do not print a default number of days here: a price on copper and a price on components age at different speeds, and a promise made on this page would be the wrong one for your order.

Orders

An order becomes a contract when we confirm your purchase order in writing. Until then, either side can walk away.

What you get is defined by that quote and the drawings you approved: the acceptance class stated on the quote, the materials listed, the quantity and the delivery terms. If you need a different class, tolerance or material, it has to be in the quote.

A quote should leave none of the following to guesswork. If yours is silent on any of them, ask before you order — silence is not a default that favours either of us:

  • Price, currency, and what it includes (tooling, test, packing, freight).
  • Payment terms and the currency and account the money goes to.
  • Delivery term and the named place — the Incoterms rule that applies.
  • Lead time, and the event it is counted from.
  • Acceptance class and inspection standard.
  • Warranty period and what it covers.

Your designs and files

  • The Gerbers, BOMs and drawings you send remain yours. We claim no rights in them.
  • By sending them you confirm you are entitled to have that design manufactured — that it is yours, or that its owner has authorised you.
  • We keep them confidential and use them only for your job, as set out in our privacy notice.
  • We do not review your design for function, safety or compliance unless we agree to in writing. Whether a board works in your product is your design decision, not ours.

Confidentiality

Your drawings, BOMs, quantities and prices are confidential. Inside the company they are seen by the people working on your job, and by nobody else.

We ask the same of you in return: the prices, lead times and process detail we quote are for you, not for publishing or for passing to another fabricator.

If your process requires a signed non-disclosure agreement before files move, say so first and we will sign one. It is easier to do that before the drawings are sent than after.

Export control, sanctions and end use

Circuit boards and assemblies can fall under export-control and sanctions rules — in China, in the country the goods travel through, and in the country they arrive in. Some of those rules apply to the design, some to the components on it, and some to who will use it.

We may therefore ask what a board will be used for and who will receive it, and we may ask for that in writing. We may decline an order, or stop one already placed, where a licence is required, where the destination or the end user is restricted, or where the stated use does not match what the design plainly is. If that happens we tell you why as far as the law allows, and we do not keep money for work we have not done.

By ordering, you confirm that what you have told us about end use, end user and destination is accurate.

What we do not promise about this website

We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change or remove pages without notice.

Links to other websites are there because they were useful to someone. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they contain or do with your data.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on its content.

Liability for goods we manufacture is governed by the quote and the contract for that order, not by this page.

Nothing on this page excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else a court would not let us write away.

If something outside our control stops us

Neither side is in breach for a delay caused by something beyond its reasonable control — a natural disaster, an epidemic, war or civil unrest, a government act or a new export rule, a port or airport closure, a power or network failure, or a carrier failing to carry.

The side affected says so promptly and does what it can to limit the delay. If it lasts long enough that the order no longer serves its purpose, either side may end the affected part, and we settle for work actually done rather than for work not started.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes about this website are for the courts with jurisdiction in Shenzhen.

Disputes about an order follow whatever the quote or the contract says, which may be a different law or a different forum if we agreed that with you.

Changes to these terms

These terms were last changed on . The version in force is the one published here when you use the site; a change does not reach back and alter an order already placed.

The rest of it

  • If one clause turns out to be unenforceable, the others stand and the unenforceable one is read as narrowly as it can be while still meaning something.
  • Not enforcing a clause once does not mean giving it up.
  • The quote, the order and these terms are the whole agreement about this website. Something said on a call does not change them unless it is put in writing.
  • Neither side may hand the contract to someone else without the other’s written agreement, except along with the sale of the whole business.
  • These terms are written in English, and the English version is the one that counts if a translation ever disagrees with it.
